Remembering with Gratitude

I remember this Christmas Time with gratitude for the people I love, all the people I have known and have played a part in my life.

Sometimes just remembering those no longer here, leads me to shed some tears for times gone by, the presence felt but not physical anymore, the importance of them to me.

Sometimes sadness engulfs me for a little while and I wonder why it happens when it does. It can be seeing an advert at Christmas time, it can be a smell or a song.

I guess we never forget, we just distract ourselves with living.

Today I send out a prayer to the world, to give my thanks for the special people I have known.

Remembering you all with gratitude.


Peaceful and Thankful


So many ways to be thankful for a new day. A fresh and bright day waiting to be filled with new thoughts, ideas and thankfulness.

As yet, unwritten, the adventures of you stepping gently through the present, being in the moment.

Being peaceful for a moment, simply being.  Noticing so many things you don’t normally notice. Drinking up the nectar of gratitude for this time.

Be who you are today and in being, take a moment to be peaceful and thankful.


Feeling Grateful for Autumn


The smell of the leaves on the grass and the feel of coolness in the air, makes me feel happy it’s Autumn. There is something so special with the different seasons we have in the UK. They all offer something different in the garden and out and about when we are off walking.

The fruits of the season now, the lovely crisp apples, the last of the pears and the vegetables in the garden patch, so grateful for all of them.

Even the mist in the morning, creates a mystery about the day ahead. A lovely crunchy frost, that lights up the world and reminds us that Christmas is not far away now!

Thinking Thoughts of Gratitude


On this Monday morning, a great way to start the week with a spring in your step, is to count your blessings and moments of gratitude. Share them here if you dare, as they will grow in power as you mention them and remember them.

As you remember each day what you are grateful for and remember to thank other when they do things for you and help you, the more you will come to understand the power of gratitude in your life.

Like a tuning fork, tuning up an instrument, it helps to tune up for gratitude.

Get on the best frequency possible so all the great gratitude waves roll towards you today. Be sure to send out lots of grateful  thoughts for all your blessings in your life and let your day tune into the positive energy as it abounds around you.


Searching for Gratitude

‘Today is the day to search for gratitude’, said the wise, ‘today is the present of today and it will never come again in the same form.  There will be some things today that will make you smile and laugh, some things that may challenge you, yet the way you treat them all will shape you.’

The wise went on to say ‘ Every moment of every day is a treat within the present, it can be seen as something good that lights your path. Sometimes you may feel unbalanced and that’s part of being human. They all work together to create the tapestry of your life. The colours can be bright or subdued, the sun can be giving you warmth or too much heat, the moon providing light or keeping you awake. All things are perceived in different ways depending on how you view today.

Turn on your searchlight now and discover the hidden gratitude within you. Spot the great things you have, have had, people you have met, will meet, the dreams you have and the ones already fulfilled. The world outside of you that is there each day like a new leaf, the world within you that nourishes you and takes you on your journey into life each day.

Make the most of the gift of today, it is yours alone to shape as you want to, be brave, be strong, be centred and have some fun along the way. Unwrap the present with care, create the gift of gratitude and search now and make it the best day for you, today.’
