A warm welcome to my ‘Bags of Gratitude’ website – thank you for stopping by here.

Gratitude has always played a part in my life. Perhaps in the early years I didn’t fully understand it all, but as I grew up I learned more about it. As a child I was taught to say ‘thank you’ to people for their gifts and to write a letter or a card.  I have taken this habit with me into my adult life.

I have also tried out a ‘gratitude challenge’ through an online card and gift service and this has helped me to be timely in my thanks and created an opportunity for me to be creative in what I send out.

There are lots of books on the subject of gratitude and I have dipped into many of them to learn more about the topic and what it means to other people.

A few years ago I decided to take part in a blogging challenge, which involved writing something about my chosen interest or topic each day for 30 days.  This process helped to trigger ideas and as I worked through the challenge, I began to realise I enjoyed writing from the heart and being creative.

This led to me writing my first book ‘ Bags of Gratitude’.
